Revd Andy Grant (Vicar)
Andy has been the Vicar of St Cuthbert’s, Marton since January 2015. Previously he was a Curate in the Benefice of Bramham. Before being ordained into the Church of England (at York Minster), Andy completed ordination training at Cranmer Hall, Durham. Previously he served 22 years in the Armed Forces. He is married to Allison; they have three adult children, Adam, Holly and Heather, and three grandchildren, Eleanor, Edward and Henry. Andy’s hobbies include walking, hiking, music, film, reading and rock concerts.
Revd Claire Todd (Curate)
Claire arrived at St Cuthbert's in July 2017 following ordination into the Church of England by the Archbishop of York in York Minster. She trained for ordination at Ridley Hall in Cambridge, and graduated with a Master's Degree in Theology, Mission and Ministry, from Durham University via the Cambridge Theological Federation. Gaining a previous Master's Degree in Counselling, also from Durham University, she worked as a Counsellor for over 16 years in various settings, including Cruse Bereavement Care in Guisborough, and The Junction young people's centre in Redcar; however she was also employed by Local Government for over 28 years, spending the last 12 ½ years as a Children and Family Counsellor. In addition, she served as a school governor and was a Reader in the Parish of St Peter's Redcar. Claire has two adult children, Lucy and Steven, and a grandson, Charlie. Her hobbies include swimming, walks on the beach, reading, travel, mediaeval history, beer festivals, and good Gin.
