A wedding is one of life’s most joyous and meaningful moments; a time of commitment, feasting and celebration. Marriage is a gift from God, and is intended to be a creative and flourishing relationship where husband and wife can love and support each other through life’s joys and struggles, and share in the care and upbringing of children.

Wedding Fayre

We are delighted to be hosting our first ever Wedding Fayre on Sunday 11th October 2026 1-4pm. We will have a range of local suppliers and wedding specialists to help you make your wedding day all you hope it could be.

Entry is free, but registration is essential to claim your complimentary bridal goodie bag.

Weddings at St Cuthbert’s Marton

If you are considering marriage, and would like your wedding to be held at St Cuthbert’s Marton then please email weddings@stcuthbertmarton.org.uk or call the parish office on 01642 316201. (You might need to leave a message). You don’t need to be religious or attend church to have a church wedding. Banns

If you are getting married at another church, but live in the Parish of Marton with Easterside (which includes Coulby Newham), you might need to have your banns published at the church.
