March Highlights

What we got up to in March

Throughout March we have continued our ‘Fruit that will last’ series, looking at the Fruit of the Spirit. We have looked at Joy & Peace, Patience & Faithfulness and considered how Christian discipleship is the journey of becoming like Jesus. We have made love heart canvases, Origami peace doves, and toilet-roll shovels. We also considered The Last Supper at our monthly communion service on the 4th Sunday.

On Fri 28th Feb we ran 2 Half-term meet-ups. These were stay and play sessions for local families. Our theme was Jesus' parables of the Pearl of Great Price and the Treasure in the Field. Funding from Feast of Fun (Together Middlesbrough) allowed us to provide lunch and a healthy snack. 

On Tuesday 4th March we hosted a Pancake Day event which was great fun. We made paper-plate pancakes, had pancake races, thought about Lent, and of course ate lots of pancakes!
