Holy Week & Easter

We had a special Holy Week and Easter at Family Church at Four. We began on Palm Sunday - unfortunately our Donkey didn’t come but we still had a lot of fun, and even had a stand in donkey. You may have seen the stainglass cross we made together as you enter the Parish Centre. 

On Monday we were in the Parkway Centre who had given us permission to set up some craft tables. It was a great chance to meet local families and invite them to Church. 

Our Easter Story Family Morning on Good Friday was really well attended. Together we explored the events of the first Easter, with readings, crafts and games. We also prayerfully tied red ribbons to the cross Iain had made for us. 

Easter Day begun with breakfast on the beach, with Bacon sandwiches, bible reading and prayer. Then in the afternoon we celebrated Easter together at 4pm. We transformed the Good Friday cross into a beautiful Easter cross with bright flowers. A powerful image of the new life Jesus’ resurrection wins us.
